The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Robert Money can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: We have such fond memories of tales of your travels with my parents to far away places as well as the road trips to Florida. The "dawn patrol" golf outings were "easy duty". A life well lived.

Condolence From: Katy Money
Condolence: Dear Grandpa,
I can’t believe I am writing a goodbye to you. As a child I thought you would be around forever, and that’s a hard notion to dispel. From the day I was born, you were the only one who called me Kate. I cannot look at a train and not think of you. Making chocolate-covered graham crackers with you in the kitchen (and a mess to boot). Teaching me how to drive in Alice’s brand new Mercedes. Sledding on the golf course in the winter. Watching the fireworks in downtown Hartford from the top of a building. Eating grapefruit with you in the morning. Most of all, I will miss your wonderful, amazing, strong hugs. You’d squeeze the breath out of me every time. I will miss you down here, but I know you are happier now, traveling to wherever your spirit desires…out west, perhaps? So, goodbye for now, Grandpa.Hugs and kisses, your Kate.

Condolence: Bob: I will always remember our adventures together, whether it is a trip to a Boston Symphony Orchestra concert at Tanglewood in the summer, or a model railroad train show in Hartford. You and Alice are our family away from family. Who will now help me to devour the turkey legs at Thanksgiving dinner table?

More importantly, Bob, you showed me what it means to be a true American, who is courageous, kind, diligent, blunt, and often stubborn. I laughed at your endless jokes, and I appreciated your friendship. Bob, I will always cherish our memories and you will always be part of who I am.
