The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Irene Cohen can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

My Aunt Irene

I think of my Aunt Irene as being quite a lively character. She was so full of life. I remember that she loved to dance and was very proud of her shapely legs. I think that the most touching story came from my sister, Margie. She said that she would marvel at the way Aunt Irene would cook from scratch. One day she was watching her prepare a meal and as she did Uncle Myer was feeding her grapes one at a time. Margie recalled that as quite a touching moment. It was a peek into their tender relationship. I will always remember Aunt Irene's laugh. We will always remember our Aunt Irene with love.
