Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Eugene Reilly can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Jeremy Belcher

My deepest condolences go out to the Reilly family. What can be said of this great man that has not already been said? Coach was one of my favorite leaders during my time at Portland High School. Everyday I would look forward to gym class so that I would get to see Coach. I was not an athlete on any of his teams but he still treated me as one of his own and he did that for everyone. I'll miss him serenading me every morning whether in gym class or in the halls with "Meet The Mets". Coach was the greatest teacher a student could have asked for and if we lost a great one I am certain that heaven has gained one. One last thing I remember from way back in high school is Coach's free throws. He would step up to the line and amaze us every day with how many free throws he could hit in a row. He was like Larry Bird. May you never miss another free throw Coach.
