Condolence: I just heard the news about Bill. I am so sad to hear of his passing. Bill and I worked together at Travelers several years ago. He was such a nice man, always had a warm smile for people and was genuinely interested in how you were doing. I really enjoyed working with him. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Condolence: Bill scored the only goal in Wethersfield"s Class L soccer championship game win in 1968.
He was a winning athlete and a winner in life.

Condolence: I was so sorry to hear about the passing of my long time Pine Acres tennis buddy Billy Gentino. He was always full of energy and enthusiasm, a great sense of humor, a super competitor and a fantastic doubles partner. I'll never forget the fun we had on Monday nights in the Greater Hartford summer league, piling 6 guys in a minivan to play as the Pine Acres men's doubles team, and have an adult beverage or two, complete with stories and laughs, thereafter. Billy was Club Champion in men's doubles at Pine Acres at least twice, and he was a better guy than he was a tennis player. My heartfelt condolences to Laurie, Eric and Stacey. You lost a husband and father who loved his family very much. My thoughts and prayers, and those of my wife Trish, are with you today.

Condolence: Please accept my deepest sympathy on the death of Billy. We went to Wethersfield High together. My birthday is December 10', 1951, so we would say happy birthday to each other in the hall at school. My grandmother was Lillian Rose Giannettino McCarthy. I will keep him in my prayers.
