Obituary for Virginia L. Warzocha (Bartosiak)

Virginia L. (Bartosiak) Warzocha, 96 of Wethersfield, beloved wife of the late John W. Warzocha, passed away peacefully, Wednesday December 30, 2015, at her home. Born in Waterbury, August 25, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Ignatius and Catherine Bartosiak. Prior to her retirement, she was a beautician, working at and managing several salons in the Hartford area. Virginia is survived by her daughter, Vivian Swank and her husband Lynn of Rexford, NY, her granddaughter, Andrea Swank of NY, two sisters, Janet Bartosiak of Newington and Beverly Bartosiak of Wethersfield and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Virginia is predeceased by her brother, Julius and her sisters, Mary, Byrnece, Emily, Lillian and Helen. Virginia’s outgoing and generous personality touched many friends and family members. She and her late husband John hosted many celebratory gatherings over the years, especially around the holidays. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 4, 2016 at 12noon in Corpus Christi Church, 601 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield. Friends and relatives may call on the family prior to the mass on Monday from 10:30 to 11:30am at the Farley Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd., Wethersfield, CT 06109. Interment will follow the Mass in Calvary Cemetery, Bow Lane, Middletown. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Felician Sisters, 1315 Enfield St., Enfield, CT 06082 or the Maryknoll Sisters, P.O. Box 311, Maryknoll, NY 10545.
