The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Virginia Bouvier can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Our First Meeting

I first met Ginny back in 1975 while attending the funeral of a dear long time friend, Les Crossen.  In what was otherwise a quiet and somber room I could hear the loud voice and laughter of a woman. When I turned around there sat this beautiful, well/óverly dressed woman who was the center of attention of all around her. No one was offended by her gayety, but instead were held captive by her endless stories.  A few weeks later while visiting friends of mine, I met a handsome man by the name of Michael Keene, who eventually became my husband.  Michael and I spent many wonderful visits with Tommy and Selina in Windsos Locks and flew out to Chicago to visit with Maisy and Michaels two sons.  Ginny and I remained friends long after Michael and I were divorced, spending time together at Point O Woods along with my daughter and son-in-law Debra and Bill Lacy. All of South Lyme and Old Lyme will miss you Ginny.
