Steven Paul Achilli
Steven Paul Achilli 54 of Torrington passed away unexpectedly October 14, 2014. Born on January 19, 1960 in Middletown, he was the son of Patricia (Bukowski) Achilli of Wethersfield and Paul Achilli and his wife Mary Jean of Vernon. Steven was a musician who enjoyed entertaining residents at Torrington Towers and other venues in the Torrington area. He also enjoyed writing his own music, bicycling and cooking. Besides his parents, Steven leaves his brother Tony Achilli of Steamboat Springs, CO as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Florence (Parente) and Mendes (Mendy) Achilli of Bristol and Edward and Helen Bukowski of New Britain. Friends may visit from 2-4 pm on Saturday October 25, 2014. A Celebration of Steven’s Life will follow at 4:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Connecticut Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd. Newington, CT 06111.
