Rose C. (Cermola) Lynch 85, of Wethersfield, wife of 65 years to Harry T. Lynch, passed away peacefully, Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Hartford Hospital. Born in Hartford, daughter of the late Carmine and Letizia (Adamo) Cermola, she lived in the Hartford area all of her life. Rose was a communicant of St. Augustine's and St. Luke's Churches for many years. Prior to her retirement, Rose worked as a secretary for St. Augustine Church for 25 years. She was a member of the St. Augustine Church Women’s Club for many years. In addition to her husband Harry, she leaves her children; Nancy Hutchings of Wisconsin, Linda Guiliano and her husband John of Ellington, Janice Wallace and her husband George of Newington, Michael A. Lynch and his wife Helene of Glastonbury, Thomas E. Lynch of Glastonbury and Joseph D. Lynch and his wife Diana of Wethersfield. Rose also leaves three sisters; Terrye Blackstone of East Hartford, Ann Schmidt of Milwaukee, WI and Jean Galinsky, two brothers; Joseph Cermola of Southington and Ernie Cermola of West Hartford, as well as 15 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Rose was predeceased by her grandson, Matthew Guiliano, her sister, Mary Smallbeck and brothers, Luke and Dominick Cermola. The Lynch family would like to give a special thank-you to Tatiana Villano for the care and compassion given to Rose. Friends and relatives may call on the family TODAY, Tuesday, April 3, 2012 from 4 to 8pm at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd. Wethersfield. Funeral procession from Farley-Sullivan will be held on Wednesday, April 4, at 10:00am with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Rose’s life at 11am in St. Luke Church, 66 Bolton St. Hartford.
