Robert W. Pecan II, 66, of Vernon, beloved husband of Anna E. (Dolecki) Pecan, passed away peacefully, Saturday, February 15, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital. Robert was born in Hartford, October 10, 1947, son of the late Robert Warren Sr. and Doris (Shannon) Pecan. He resided in the Hartford area all his life. Prior to his retirement, Robert was employed by the State of Connecticut, Department of Corrections for many years. In addition to his wife Anna, Robert will be fondly remembered by relatives of the Pecan and Dolecki families and many close and dear friends; as well as his four legged friends. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Roberts’s funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd., Wethersfield. Anna requests that memorial donations be made in Robert’s name to the Connecticut Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd., Newington, CT 06111.
