Obituary for Richard A. Ottaviano

Richard Anthony Ottaviano, 78, of Wethersfield, peacefully passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015. Richard was born May 5, 1936 and raised in Hartford, son of the late Anthony and Grace (Mancuso) Ottaviano. He resided in Hartford most of his life prior to moving to Wethersfield. He was a graduate of Weaver High School, Class of 1954. Richard was employed by the Town of Manchester in the Public Works Department, prior to his retirement. He served eight years with the CT National Guard. Richard leaves extended family in the Hartford area. In addition to his family, he was predeceased by his sister Carol Ann (Ottaviano) Cassarino. There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 10am in Corpus Christi Church, 601 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield. Interment will follow the Mass in the family plot in Mount St. Benedict (Section P), 1 Cottage Grove Rd., Bloomfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to Corpus Christi Church, 85 Somerset St., Wethersfield, CT 06109.
