Paul Eugene Console Jr., 82 of Wethersfield, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 25, 2012. Paul was born August 1, 1929, and raised in Hartford. He was the third son of the late Paolo Eugene Sr. and Frances (Tessone) Console. He moved to Wethersfield in 1966. Prior to his retirement, Paul was employed at the Callahan Paper Box Co. of Hartford. He enjoyed being with people which led him to a part time job at the Sunshine Laundry Co. He was an avid sports enthusiast, loved listening to music, in addition to being a talented drummer who could turn any surface into a drum and break out into a solo. Paul will be remembered by his family, his brother and sister in law, Dominick J. and Christine (Lisella) Console of Wethersfield and Naples, FL; sister in law Evelyn (Luccardi) Console in California; two nieces and four nephews, Joanne Demby (Jeff) in Florida, Janet Allgire (Russ) in California, Paul D. Console (Betsy Kennedy) of Trumbull, Anthony Console in California, John J. Console (Laura Nash) and Mark A. Console, all of Wethersfield; three grandnieces and a grandnephew, Jessica Allgire in California, Elizabeth Console of Trumbull, Serena Console and Andrew John (AJ) Console both of Wethersfield; along with many close and dear friends from the Nathan Hale House and Ellis Manor. In addition to his parents, Paul was predeceased by his eldest brother Julius Anthony Console. Paul’s family will receive relatives and friends Saturday, March 31, 2012 from 9 am to 10am in St. Luke Church, 66 Bolton St., Hartford, at which time, a Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Paul’s life will be held at 10am with Monsignor Vittorio Guerrera officiating. Interment will be Private. A gathering will take place in St. Luke Church Hall following the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Paul’s name to St. Luke Church, 66 Bolton St., Hartford, CT 06114. Paul’s funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd., Wethersfield.
