Obituary for MIldred E. Osborne
Mildred E. Osborne, 102, of Wethersfield, passed away on Saturday September 27, 2014 at home. She was born in Old Saybrook on October 25, 1911 the daughter of the late Stanley and Frieda (Zwiebal) Osborne and resided in Wethersfield since 1937. Mildred was a graduate of the Hartford Secretarial School in 1928. Prior to her retirement, she was a Secretary at Nationwide Insurance Company for many years. Besides her parents, Mildred was predeceased by her sister Marion Osborne, with whom she lived all her life. She was a communicant of Corpus Christi Church and belonged to the Corpus Christi Women’s Club. The funeral will be held at 9:30 am on Friday October 3, 2014 from the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd. Wethersfield, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Corpus Christi Church, 601 Silas Deane Hwy, Wethersfield. Burial will be in Centerbrook Cemetery, Westbrook Rd, Centerbrook, CT. Friends may call at the funeral home from 8:30-9:30 am Friday.
