Mary R. Winiarski, of, Wethersfield, widow of Frank E. Winiarski, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2013. Born in Hartford, December 7, 1921, she was the daughter of Stanley and Sophie (Salak) Sobieski. She resided in Wethersfield for the last 60 years. Mary leaves two sons, Frank G. Winiarski of East Hartford, and John S. Winiarski of Wethersfield; an adored granddaughter, Marissa Wellman of Smith’s Station AL; three cherished great grandchildren, Marlana, Angelica, and Noah; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by two brothers, Stanley J. Sobieski formerly of Newington, and John J. Sobieski, formerly of Wethersfield. There are no calling hours. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of her family. Mary’s funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd., Wethersfield.
