Mary will be dearly missed by her devoted daughters, Irene Bobriwnyk and husband Anatole of Rocky Hill, Christine Jakymiw of Wethersfield, Nadine Jakymiw and husband Richard Marshall of Rocky Hill; grandchildren Natalie Giuca and husband Eric of Newington, Mark Bobriwnyk and Adrian Bobriwnyk, both of Rocky Hill, step-granddaughter Megan Marshall of Detroit and nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, friends. Besides her parents and husband, Mary was predeceased by her brother Michael Semaniuk in 2013. Friends and relatives may pay their respects to the family on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 from 5-8pm with a Panachyda service at 7pm in the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd., Wethersfield. A Funeral Liturgy celebrating Mary’s life will be held Wednesday, September 3rd at 10am at St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, 125 Wethersfield Ave., Hartford. Burial will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery, New London Tpke, Glastonbury. To extend online condolences, share a memory, and/or light a memorial candle, please visit farleysullivan.com. Donations in Mary’s memory may be made to St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic School (at church address) or to Ukrainian American Youth Ass’n Education Fund, 961 Wethersfield Ave, Hartford, CT 06114. Thank you to the Wethersfield and Rocky Hill senior centers, where Mary enjoyed many years of Bingo and socializing with friends. Mary’s daughters want to acknowledge the compassionate care she received at Hartford Hospital’s Emergency Dept., CB5, B7I, CB2. Very special thanks to Dr. Beth Nelson; you gave us an additional 10 years to love our Mom and for that we are forever grateful.
