Mary Beth Del Sole (Simpson)
Mary Beth (Simpson) Del Sole, 57, wife of the late Peter Del Sole, of Wethersfield, passed away August 27, 2015 in Hartford Hospital. She was born in Yonkers, NY, daughter of Elizabeth Simpson of South Glastonbury and the late William Simpson. She moved to South Glastonbury and met her husband Peter while working at Amica Insurance. They married in 1984 and moved to Wethersfield, where they started their family. Mary Beth was very devoted to her husband, children and extended family. When she wasn’t playing soccer Mom, she enjoyed gardening, reading and keeping her home pristine. There was no such thing as a “junk drawer” in Mary Beth’s house. Later in life, she became a paraprofessional at Highcrest Elementary School in Wethersfield and was dedicated to her students. Besides her mother, Mary Beth leaves her children Heather Del Sole of Fairfield and Michael Del Sole of Wethersfield, her brother William Simpson and his wife Lynette of Granby and her sister Kathleen Schacht and her husband Barry of Wallingford. She also leaves her mother-in-law Dorothy Del Sole of Eastham, MA. and her brothers-in-law Chuck Del Sole and his wife Joanne of North Attleboro, MA and Scott Del Sole of East Providence, RI, as well as her nieces and nephews, Gregory, Cristina and Brian Schacht, all of Wallingford and Nicholas, Sarah and Marissa Del Sole of North Attleboro, MA. Mary Beth was predeceased by her father-in-law Nicholas Del Sole. Finally, she will be greatly missed by her dog, Ryder, with whom she loved to take walks around the block. Mary Beth was best known for putting others first and of course, her unforgettable laugh
