Marie was born and raised in the south end of Hartford, the second of four children born to the late Albert and Lena (DePaola) Crivellone. She would have celebrated her 87th birthday on September 29th. Marie was predeceased by her husband Joseph J. Morrone, her sister Lucille Carey, and her niece Diane Carey. In addition, Marie also leaves many nieces and nephews with whom she enjoyed spending time with. She especially looked forward to her weekly visits with her nieces Lynn Carey and Jeanne Swayner. The family is extremely grateful to the Staff on D Wing at Salmon Brook Center in Glastonbury for the care and compassion they gave to Marie during the time she spent there. Friends and relatives may call on the family Thursday, August 14th from 8:30-9:30am at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd., Wethersfield. The funeral procession will commence at 9:30am for a Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Marie’s life, at 10am in Corpus Christi Church, 601 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield. Interment will follow the Mass in Cedar Hill Cemetery (Section 34), 453 Fairfield Ave. Hartford.
