Maria (Dziubanska) Borysiuk, 85 of Wethersfield, CT passed away February 26, 2013. Maria was born in Bibrka, Ukraine and immigrated to the United States in 1949. She was a member of St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Church and retired from the Wiremold Company. She leaves behind her husband, Peter and two children, Olga and Roman. “Baba” was devoted to her grandchildren and will be greatly missed. She had a great love for Ukrainian embroidery, gardening and baking. A Panachyda will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday morning March 4th at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Road, Wethersfield. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Church at 11:00am. Interment will follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Maria’s memory to the National Parkinson’s Foundation or The Ukrainian Museum NYC, 222 E 6th St, New York, NY 10003.
