Obituary for Louise I. Dunne (Coutu)

Louise I. (Coutu) Dunne, 91, wife of the late Robert E. Dunne, passed away peacefully June 20, 2016 at Brookdale Assisted Living, Glastonbury. She was born in Warwick, RI on August 7, 1924, daughter of the late John J and Lorraine (Jenison) Coutu. Prior to her retirement, Louise was a Secretary for the H.O. Penn Co. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Louise will be fondly remembered by her children, Paul E. Dunne and his wife Ginni of Dennis, MA, Philip J. Dunne of Thomaston and Marcia L. Dunne and her husband Eric Klaus of Glastonbury. She also leaves her grandchildren, Joseph R. Dunne and his wife Natalie, James Dunne and his wife Traci, Rachel Dunne, Alexandra C. Klaus and Paul Dunne Klaus, 2 great-grandchildren, Ryan and Sarah and a daughter-in-law, Pamela Dunne. Besides her husband, Louise was predeceased by her son Stephen R. Dunne.
A Memorial Service celebrating Louise’s life will be held on Friday June 24, 2016 at 10:00am at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Naubuc Ave., Glastonbury. Burial will follow the service in Rose Hill Memorial Park, 580 Elm St., Rocky Hill. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-6 pm Thursday June 23, 2016.
