The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Louis Diachenko can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

lloving friend

I met Lou after I moved from Boston to start a career in Lighting Sales in Connecticu. Lou worked for Graybar Electric and he was one of my first clients. That was in February of 1960. We spent many days together as I became more active in the Lighting business. In 1961 Lou and his wife Ann joined me and my wife Amelia to see My Fair Lady at the Bushnell Art Center. Ever since we remained good friends as his family grew along with my family. Ironically he came to work for me after he retired from Graybar Electric. We continued to stay in touch even after he resigned from my company.

One memory that lingers with me is when he helped me close an order for lighting in the Enfield Prison facility with Gross Electric a large contractor in Hartford. Lou was always and forever a loyal friend and I miss him dearly. He had a wonderful life and raised a lovely family. He was a ttuly devoted father to Ann and his children. Today I share their sorrow in his passing. John Mustone, Meriden, Ct.
