Lillian (Dorn) Dodd Meacham, 93 of Glastonbury, formerly of East Hartford, wife of the late John B. Dodd and the late Wally Meacham, passed away peacefully Monday August 27, 2012 in Glastonbury. Born in New York, daughter of the late Charles and Marie Dorn, she lived in the East Hartford-Glastonbury area most of her life. Prior to her retirement, she worked for many years at the Aetna Insurance Company. Lillian leaves her two loving granddaughters; Lori A. (Dodd) Johnson and her husband Kevin and Sarah L. Dodd, a great grandson Mcguire Thomas Johnson, and a daughter-in-law Diane (Zaleski) Dodd and her companion Frank Melluzzo. Lillian also leaves a brother, Charles Dorn and his wife Kay and a sister, Dorothy Valli as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and two husbands, Lillian was predeceased by her son, Thomas M. Dodd and her brother-in-law John Valli. Funeral services will be held Thursday September, 6, 2012 , with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Christopher Church, 538 Brewer St. East Hartford. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, East Hartford. Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, Glastonbury has been entrusted with Lillian’s arrangements.
