Obituary for Kimberly "Kim" Winter (Pawlak)

Kimberly Lynette (Pawlak) Winter, 41 of Wethersfield, loving daughter of Gwendolyn (Madore) Pawlak of Hartford and James Pawlak of Wethersfield, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2015 while travelling in Virginia. Kim was born in Hartford and was raised in Wethersfield, where she attended Wethersfield Schools, graduating from Wethersfield High Class of 1992. She married, and then relocated to San Diego, CA and Charlotte, NC. where she attended ECPI College of Technology. While enrolled in ECPI she achieved “A” average grades and earned her Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification. She was most recently employed by Jefferson Radiology. Kim was very family oriented; she went above and beyond especially when it came to her children. Along with her parents Kim will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her children, Corrinne and Austin Winter, their father and grandmother Turk Winter, and Donna Winter; her extended family, two uncles and an aunt, Robert and Nellie Pawlak and Basil Spedaliere; her life partner, Stephen Pierce IV, his parent's Stephen Pierce III and Linda Pierce; three special cherished friends, Lois Schock, Holly Prybison and Domenick Winter; many cousins and friends; and her Denny’s family of Wethersfield. Kim’s family will receive relatives and friends Monday, August 17, 2015 from 10-11am at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd, Wethersfield, with a Remembrance service in celebration of Kim’s life at 11am in the funeral home.
