Kathleen Ann Casey, 65, of Hartford, entered into the Lord’s embrace Wednesday, September 24, 2008, at home with her family by her side, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of the late Thomas L. and Hazel (Pearson) Casey. Kathleen recently retired from the C.S.E.A. Credit Union, in the Hartford office having completed forty two years of service. Kathleen leaves to mourn; her brothers, Michael Casey and his wife Sonya of Milford, Thomas Casey and his wife Margaret of Westbrook, and Timothy Casey of Hartford with whom she made her home as well as a host of nieces and nephews. She also leaves her special friend and cousin Kevin Casey of Southbury. Kathleen was predeceased by her sister Betsy (Casey) Callahan. Kathleen’s family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Heidi Kraushaar and Maria Rosado of the CT. VNA for their help and support. Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 26, 2008 at 11am in the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd, Wethersfield. Friends and relatives may call on the family Friday, September 26, between 10am and 11am, at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
