Judith Ann Katherine Lissie, 70, of Wethersfield, passed away quietly after a yearlong battle with pancreatic cancer. Judy was born in New Britain, daughter of the late Michael and Helen (Danusevich) Lissie and was a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School, New Britain. She was a 30 year business representative for SNET, retiring in 1989. Judith was a talented crafts-person and wonderful interior decorator,. She leaves her beloved life partner, Joseph Lee Williams, two sisters, Marilyn Coon and Michele Lissie, two nieces, Amanda and Alicia Lissie, a nephew, J. Michael Coon, a grandniece Violet Coon and a grandnephew Marcus Coon. Judith also leaves Lee’s children and his Grandson and Granddaughter, Joseph Williams and Kelsey Williams. A Celebration of Judith’s (Judy's) life will be held Friday January 10, 2014 at 2:00 pm with a memorial service immediately following at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd. Wethersfield. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1-2 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donation in Judith’s name may be made to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, PO Box 1848, Longmont, CO 80502 and Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue Inc., PO Box 808, Hudson,MA 01749.
