Jonathan Joseph Marocchini, 26, of Wallingford, passed away unexpectedly Monday, September 9, 2013. He was born in Hartford, March 20, 1987. Jonathan was a graduate of Wilcox Technical School in Meriden, and was employed by M&G Plumbing in Hamden. Following in his grandfather, Joseph Marocchini's footsteps, he was currently working on his Masters License for Plumbing. Jonathan will be fondly remembered by his loving family, his mother, Elisabeth “Liz” Marocchini; stepfather Keith Yurewitch; brother James Marocchini; sister and brother-in-law, Kristina and James Batick Jr.; niece and nephew Juliette and Justin Batick; maternal grandmother Katarina Marocchini and her partner, Henry Cieslak, paternal grandparents, Evelyn and Robert Easley, aunt Sigi Morris and uncle Wayne Slossberg, uncle John Poulos; cousin Joseph Poulos. Special in Jonathan’s life, the family is forever grateful to JoAnn Ahern, for her patient and wonderful care over the years. In addition, a special thank you to his bosses at M&G Plumbing, James Montano and Vincent Gambardella, whom Jonathan regarded as family. Friends and relatives may pay their respects from 5-7pm, Friday September 13, 2013 at the Farley- Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd., Wethersfield. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Jonathan’s life will be Saturday September 14th at 10am, in Sacred Heart Church, 56 Hartford Ave., Wethersfield. Inurnment will follow the Mass in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery (Section L), 1 Cottage Grove Rd., Bloomfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Association, 2080 Silas Deane Hwy, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
