Condolence From: Marcia Higgins
Condolence: I am deeply sadden of the passing of my long time friend. Jean was my first boss and we shared a 49 year special friendship. Jean & Al were part of my Christmas Eve family get togethers for many years and was always the life of the party. There are now two empty seats at our gatherings, they are missed very much. Jean was very lonely after losing Al. They truly shared a special love for each other. A true friend to me, I will dearly miss her. My heartfelt sympathy, Marcia

Condolence: My condolences to Jeanette's family and friends. I had the pleasure of working with Jean at the Defense Department many years ago. Aside from being very good at her job, Jean was always very kind and considerate of everyone. As a young trainee I know I learned a lot from her. She obviously led a very full life and touched many people. May God bless her.

Condolence: I had the pleasure of knowing Jeannette for the past 7 or 8 years thru NARFE. She was a LADY in the best sense of that word--truly the type of person you don't see much any more. She was always bright and cheery and loving and brightened the lives of everyone with whom she came in contact. She did an outstanding job as NARFE's chaplain and was an immense help in reaching out to members who were sick or whose families were grieving, etc.. I am glad to have known her, value the time I spent with her, will miss her very much, and extend to all her family and friends our deepest sympathy and support.

Condolence From: Sam & Zenia Pilch
Condolence: Jeanette was a dear friend and a true lady from a long ago era. At age 94, Jeanette stood straight and tall. She always dressed for the occasion, had her hair done, wore French berets, and enjoyed wearing the perfect shade of red lipstick which looked stunning with her blond hair. (Who knew that Jean could completely assemble a Browning machine gun!!!) She was an eloquent speaker, toast master, and as we always told her, “the life of the party.” At age 93, Jeanette lost her long time fiancé Alexander Janczyk. She missed him dearly. And we will dearly miss and forever remember Jean and Alex.
