The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of George Olejarz can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

After decades of looking for him, I am sadden to see the passage of my friend George. I knew him from the Cornell Years (77-80) and when not working on my degree, I was working in the bakery, baking or cooking at his house, ice fishing, or helping out with the truck garden (from which George fed a large church with the left overs twice a week). A great gentle soul and I will miss him. Rest in Peace Friend!
