Gavin Robert Marshall, beloved son of Jason Marshall and Jennifer Stahl passed away Thursday, Jun 28, 2012. He was born March 24, 2011, in Hartford and had lived in Bolton. Gavin will be remembered for his smile and the joy he found in a good picture book, a game of catch, or a long stroller ride with family and friends. In the time he spent with us, Gavin touched the hearts of many, proving that strength comes in all shapes and sizes. In addition to his parents, Gavin will be fondly remembered by his loving family; his paternal grandmother, Kathy “Grammy” Marshall of Clifton, NJ; paternal grandfather, James “Pop” Marshall and his wife Joanne, of Myrtle Beach, SC; his maternal great grandmother, Eleanore Kessler of Smallwood, NY; great aunt and great uncle, Joan and Rich Wrede of Malverne, NY; three adoring aunts and an uncle, Alison Stahl of Somerville, MA, Cathy Stahl of Waltham, MA, Jennifer and Frank Cavallaro of Orange; two cousins, Frankie and Grace Cavallaro of Orange; as well as his extended family and many close friends. Jennifer and Jason would like to extend a special thank you to the dedicated doctors, nurses and medical staff of the 7th floor at the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center for all their love, compassion, and care for Gavin. Friends and relatives may pay their respects Sunday, July 1, 2012 from 2-6 pm at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Naubuc Ave. Glastonbury. A Private Funeral Service will be held at the convenience of the family. Jennifer and Jason requested in lieu of flowers, and that memorial donations be made in Gavin’s memory to the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center Foundation, 282 Washington St., Hartford, CT 06106, email: foundation@connecticutchildrens.org.
