Gail was born December 17, 1952 to Jane O. Clemens and the late Robert F. Clemens, ranking third in the clan of eight. Moving to Berlin in 1960 she attended Berlin schools, graduating from Berlin High in 1971, furthering her education at Johnson State College in VT. Gail leaves her loving husband of 20 years, Richard A. Brink, her mother Jane O. Clemens, 7 brothers and sisters, Mark Clemens of Berlin, Paul Clemens & Teresa Burby of Plainville, Beth & Peter Campanelli of Berlin, Ruth & David Sturgeon of Maine, Judy & George Procko of Berlin, Neal Clemens of Berlin, Dean Clemens of New Britain and cousin Nancy O Burch of East Hartland. Gail also leaves several nieces and nephews, Nicole Campanelli, Abigail, Megan and Haley Procko, Kelly, Mitchel & Jessica Sturgeon, Evan & Lauren Clemens and Samantha Garcia. Gail and Dick owned and operated two businesses, BHS Torin in Farmington, CT, which they sold and LM Gill Welding, which they currently own and operate. Through business, Gail and Dick became quite the world travelers. Skiing in Colorado, hitting the links at Pebble Beach or just a night out with friends, she enjoyed it all. Golf became a passion, as members of the Farmington Country Club this allowed her and Dick many leisurely hours on the greens. Her home in Barnard, VT, which they built together, was her sanctuary. Whether snowmobiling, sitting on the porch or spending endless hours with friends, it was their “Field of Dreams”. Gail touched many lives, collected many friends and cherished each and every one. “I’ll send you a sign,” she told many of you, look and wait it will come. Calling hours will be at Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Road Wethersfield, CT 06109 on Thursday August 9, 2012 from 5pm to 8pm.
