Interment: 00, 000 at Private, at the convenience of the Lopez Family
Frederick L. Lopez, husband of Kathleen (Kieselbach) Lopez of Wethersfield, died February 21, 2013 in Hartford Hospital. He was born in Great Barrington, MA., son of the late Paul and Mary (Preston) Lopez, moved to the Hartford area in his teens and lived in the area most of his life. Prior to his retirement, Fred served as a Wethersfield Police Officer for 23 years. He was an avid cyclist and also enjoyed tennis, camping with his children, NASCAR, riding his motorcycle and his grandchildren’s sporting events. Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Michael Lopez of Wethersfield, a daughter Kristina (Lopez) Walling and her husband Mark, two grandchildren, Jake and Michael Walling all of Rocky Hill and a sister Marylee Lopez of Pittsfield MA. Fred was predeceased by his brothers, Douglas and Paul Lopez. Friends may call at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home 34 Beaver Rd., Wethersfield, CT. from 5-8 pm Monday February 25, 2013.
