Franciszek “Frank” Trubisz, 91, of Hartford, beloved husband of the late Jadwiga (Woropaj) Trubisz passed away peacefully Monday, January 14, 2013 at Ellis Manor. Frank was born June 9, 1921, in Glen Cove, L.I.N.Y. son of the late Edward and Genowefa Trubisz. His family returned to Poland, when he was a young boy; he grew up there, met and married his wife Jadwiga, and had their three children. In 1964 the family moved back to America and settled in the Hartford area. Prior to his retirement, Frank was employed by Colonial Truck Body in East Hartford until 1980, then went on to work with his sons, Richard and John, at Benton Auto Body in Hartford. He was a workaholic, and would think nothing of being at the shop seven days a week. He was a devoted member of SS Cyril & Methodius Church, Hartford and was proud to do Sunday collection. Frank will be fondly remembered by his loving family; his son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Teresa Trubisz of Rocky Hill; daughter, Bozena Fraczek of Newington; brother Edward Trubisz in Poland; five adoring grandchildren, Jennifer Pietrzak and her husband Steven, Mark and Robert Trubisz, Kristina Fraczek and her husband William Moscatelli, Darek Fraczek and his fiancé Raeanne Reilly; and a cherished great granddaughter, Delilah. In addition to his parents, Frank was predeceased by his son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter, John, Cecilia, and Yvette Trubisz, along with his sister Alberta Kulik. Friends and relatives may pay their respects on Thursday, January 17, 2013 from 5-7pm at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd., Wethersfield. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Frank’s life will be held Friday, January 18 at 1pm in SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, 63 Popieluszko Court, Hartford. Attendees are asked to go directly to the Church. Interment will follow the Mass in the family plot in Cedar Hill Cemetery, (Section 26), 453 Fairfield Ave., Hartford.
