Mr. G - Sweet, loving and fun

I have so many wonderful memories of Mr. G. He was always so much fun and so wonderful to all the kids. We spent so many fun July 4th holidays at the lake house but one in particular stands out the most. I was probably about 7 or 8 years old and we were out at the barn while Mr. G was cooking burgers on the grill. There was a big storm and everyone went running for cover. I was terrified because it was thunder and lightening. Mr. G made sure I got to the house and held me on his lap until I stopped crying. He was always there to make sure the kids were safe and happy. My other memories will always consist of Mr. G in his orange pick up truck (if I remember correcly sometimes they were yellow but always interesting colors.). You could always tell he was coming! Everyone loved his pick up trucksI After birthday parties he would throw all of us kids in the back and slowly drive through Rocky HIll dropping everyone off. I hated living so close because I was always one of the first to get out. Mr. G was such a wonderful man and my mom and dad thought so much of him. Right now Dad and Mr. G are sitting next to eachother in heaven catching up on old times and laughing up a storm! I love you Mr. G! And Mrs G, Pat, Katie, Eddie and Ammer, my heart breaks for you and your loss. Love you all!
