Edna L Gallup
Edna Gallup, 75, of Hartford, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, peacefully passed away Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Ellis Manor. Edna was born December 29, 1940 in Portland, ME, daughter to the late Roscoe and Iola Hannaford. She moved to Hartford in 1966 where she spent most of her life with her late husband Myron Allen Gallup Sr., raising their children. Prior to her retirement, Edna worked at Beauty Enterprises. Edna will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her family; her seven children, Myron Gallup Jr., Barbara White, Patricia Gallup, Brian Gallup, Karen Gallup and Joseph Gallup, all of Hartford and Rocky Gallup of Plainville; her 23 adored grandchildren and 30 cherished great grandchildren. Friends and relatives may pay their respects to the Gallup family Monday, March 14, 2016 from 5-8pm at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd., Wethersfield. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at 11am in Farley-Sullivan. Interment will follow the CT State Veterans Cemetery, Bow Lane, Middletown.
