Doris (Daria Yanishewsky) Latyk, 75, of Wethersfield, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Hartford Hospital. Born August, 23, 1936 in Ukraine, she moved to the Hartford area at a very young age. Doris was the daughter of the late Andrew and Wladislawa (Medynsky) Yanishewsky. She resided in Wethersfield for over 50 years, was a member of St. Michael’s Ukrainian Church Hartford and the Ladies Guild. Prior to her retirement she was a Pharmacist for G. Fox and Brooks Pharmacies for many years. Doris will be fondly remembered by her loving family; her two daughters and their spouses, Andrea and Craig Mulonet of East Hampton, Christine and Matthew Lourie of San Jose, CA; four adoring grandsons, Steven and Kevin Lourie of San Jose, CA, Nathaniel and Ethan Mulonet of East Hampton. The family wishes to thank the staff of CB-2 at Hartford Hospital for their compassion and care during Doris’s illness. Friends and relatives may pay their respects Friday, June 22, 2012 from 11am – 12pm at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd., Wethersfield at which time a Panachyda service will be held at 12noon with Rev. Fr. Pawlo Martyniuk officiating. Interment will follow in the family plot in St. Michael Ukrainian Cemetery, New London Tpke, Glastonbury. The family wishes in lieu of flowers, and that memorial donations be made in Doris’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association CT Chapter, 2075 Silas Deane Highway, Suite 100, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
