Dolores (Austin) McAllister, 89, of Wethersfield, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2017. Dolores was born on April 27, 1927 in Hartford to the late Alden and Blanche Austin. She grew up in Hartford and was a graduate of Hartford Public High School. She spent her working career in the insurance industry during which she held positions at both Traveler’s and Aetna. She was a life-long communicant of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Hartford. Dolores enjoyed socializing with her circle of friends and never met a dog she didn’t love. Dolores is survived by her cousins, Joan Karpinski of Wethersfield; Patricia Whitman Cocivera and her husband Joseph, Jr. of Farmington; Thomas Karpinski and his wife, Mary Ann of Plymouth, MA. There are no calling hours. Burial will be private.
