Brian Joseph Coyne, 49, of Wethersfield, passed away Monday, September 12, 2011. Born in Ireland, December 5, 1961, son of the late Dr. Edward & Mary (Hoade) Coyne, resided in the Hartford area most of his life. He served our country in the US Navy, attained two Master’s Degrees, and working in Research & Development in the Pharmaceutical industry. Brian will be remembered by his wife, Katharine (Brunner) Coyne; two adoring children, Patrick Michael & Caroline Genevieve Coyne, both at home; two sisters, Emer Coyne of Avon & Finola Egan, her husband John, and their children, Katie, Connor, & Liam, all of Maryland. Calling hours will be held Thursday, September 15, from 5-7pm in the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd. Wethersfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, September 16 at 11:30am in Corpus Christi Church, 601 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield. Inurnment will follow in the Veterans Cemetery, Bow Lane, Middletown. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Patrick & Caroline Coyne Education Fund, c/o TD Bank, 25 Wells Rd., Wethersfield, CT 06109.
