Annie (Chamberland) Albert, of Glastonbury, beloved wife of the late Emile T. Albert (who passed away in November 1981), entered eternal peace Sunday May 18, 2008 in Farmington, surrounded by her family. Born in Maine, October 31, 1914, she was the daughter to the late Belone and Marie (Marquis) Chamberland and resided in Glastonbury most of her life. Annie enjoyed playing bingo, set back, and poker with her many friends at Naubuc Green, camping trips, family gatherings, and especially trips to the casino. She was a kind hearted woman of beauty and class, who always expressed a kind word for everyone. Annie will be fondly remembered by her family; her children and their spouses, Ronald & Janelle Albert of Bristol, Camille & Diane Albert of Plainville, Claudette Caron of Glastonbury, Rosaire & Janet Albert of Terryville, Marcel Albert of Glastonbury, and Carmen Parker & Fiancé Louis DeLorso of Manchester; 12 grandchildren and their spouses; Lisa & Kevin Ouellette, Tina & Martin Brousseau, Michelle & Thomas Keough Jr., Karen & Laurence O’Hanlon, Jeff & Tina Caron, Cynthia Caron & her Fiancé David Henry, Jason Albert, US Coast Guard, Dylan Albert of , Jennifer Albert, Michael Albert, Ryan & Kimberly Parker US Navy; 10 great grandchildren, Shane Ouellette, Aimee, Paul, & Renee Brousseau, Riley & Ian O’Hanlon, Kiley & Thomas Keough III, Matthew & Natalie Caron; 4 sisters and a brother; Rita St. Amant of Glastonbury, Mathilda Ouellette, Rena Lizotte, Theresa Chasse, and Roger Chamberland all of Maine. She also leaves behind a brother-in-law, several sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Annie was predeceased by 6 brothers; Conrad, Armand, Warren, Abel, Louis, & Roland Chamberland; sisters, Lucina Plourde & Marie Therese Chamberland; and 3 grandchildren, Brian, Lynn, & Mark Albert. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt appreciation for the care Annie received at Haven Health Center of Farmington for the past year and a half. Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 21, 2008, 9:30am from the Farley-Sullivan, 50 Naubuc Avenue, Glastonbury, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Paul Church, 2577 Main Street, Glastonbury. Interment will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park, 580 Elm Street, Rocky Hill. Annie’s family will receive relatives and friends in the Funeral Home, TODAY, Tuesday, May 20, from 4 to 8 pm. In lieu of flowers the family would like friends to consider a memorial donation to either the Special Olympics, 2666 State Street, Suite 1,Hamden, CT 06517-2232, or the Plainville, CT. Fire Dept. Scholarship, Fund, 77 W Main Street, Plainville, CT 06062-1911.
