Andrew J. Mokritski, 56, of Enfield passed away unexpectedly Friday, August 1, 2008, at home. Born in Hartford, he was the son of Andrew H. and Gladys (Budaj) Mokritski. Andrew worked in the Purchasing Dept. for the State of Connecticut, for over 20 years with the state legislature. A man of the outdoors, he enjoyed hiking,hunting, and fishing. However, his greatest joy was to share time with his loving family. Joined in their loss are his beloved daughter, Danielle Mokritski, Andrew’s brother, Henry D. Mokritski and his wife Pamela of Longmeadow, Ma, his nieces, Ellen, Joanna, Jessica, and Lonnie, as well as his nephew Kenneth. Andrew was predeceased by his brother, Daniel J. Mokritski. Funeral services will be held, Saturday, August 9, 2008, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Luke Church, 66 Bolton St, Hartford. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends and relatives may call on the family Friday, August 8, between 5-7pm at the Farley Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd. Wethersfield, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the National Audubon Society, 225 Varick St.
