Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00am August 14, 2008 at St. Paul Church, 2577 Main St, Glastonbury, CT.

Interment: 11:15am August 14, 2008 at Hillside Cemetery, Hillside St., East Hartford
Alma (LaPlant) Cowles, 89, of Glastonbury, formerly of East Hartford, beloved wife of the late Howard Lewis Cowles, entered into Eternal Rest, Tuesday, August 12, 2008. Sharing in their loss are her grandchildren, Bryant, Joey, Darci, Vincent, Colleen and Russell. Alma was also blessed with five great grandchildren, Marissa, Jordan, Brianna, Andrea and Nichole as well as her nephew, Jacki. In addition to her husband, Howard, she was predeceased by her son, Gary Cowles and her daughter Donna May Cowles and her brothers and sisters. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 14, 2008 at 9:30am from the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Naubuc Ave, Glastonbury, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Paul Church, 2577 Main St. Glastonbury. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Hillside St, East Hartford. Friends and relatives may call on the family Thursday, August 14, between 8:30am and 9:30am, at the Funeral Home.
