TRZCINSKI, Alexander Julian Alexander Julian Trzcinski of Wethersfield peacefully passed away to his eternal rest September 9, 2008 after complications from surgery. Alex was born August 11, 1918 in Greenfield, MA.; son of Julian and Antonia Trzcinski. He returned to the family farm in Poland until he moved to France and then Cuba where he lived for 14 years. He returned to the U.S. where he settled and found the love of his life, Laurie. He is survived by his devoted wife Laurie (Kosenski) Trzcinski of 65 years. He was proud of his family: daughter Andrea J. Merry and husband David of Marlborough and son Alex Trzcinski and wife Judi of Andover. Alex was a wise man, proud of the fact that love and respect is the foundation of his family. He is survived by four grandchildren Kevin McGrath of Columbia, CT, Erin (McGrath) Annecharico and husband Art of East Hartford, Meaghan (McGrath) Kitchin and husband Benjamin of Hebron and Brian Trzcinski and wife Elizabeth of Manchester. He is the great-grandfather of Lucas Trzcinski. He is survived by his sisters Helen Winiarski, Olga Zygma and husband Peter, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Theresa Zygma and brothers Anthony and Stanley. Alex was a hardworking man dedicated to the dry cleaning business working for many establishments including Battiston's and Premier Cleaners of Wethersfield retiring in 1980. Our "Jadziu" was an avid Red Sox fan. He believed in destiny. "Sto lat, Ya chi kohom Jadziu!" No calling hours per his request. A church service will be held at Corpus Christi Church in Wethersfield, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 13. Burial will be at the family's convenience, handled by Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home of Wethersfield. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his memory to Corpus Christi Church, Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield or Felician Sister's Convent Route 5, Enfield.
