Interment: 12:00 noon September 19, 2012 at Cedar Hill Cemetery (Section 31), 453 Fairfield Ave., Hartford, CT 06106
Adriano Palombizio, 35, of Wethersfield, beloved son of Barbara (Rogowski) Palombizio and the late Vincenzo “Vincent” Palombizio, entered his new life with the Lord Friday, September 14, 2012. Adriano was born in Hartford, July 2, 1977 and raised in Wethersfield,attending Wethersfield Schools, continuing his education at Worcester PolyTechnic Institute (WPI), earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics. Adriano was a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity at WPI. He was recently employed at Hartford Hospital and was involved in several volunteer opportunities in the Greater Hartford area. He was interested in sports and enjoyed playing piano. He had a generous and caring attitude towards the elderly with whom he enjoyed spending time. Along with his mother Barbara, Adriano will be fondly remembered by his sister, Bianca of Wethersfield; several aunts and uncles, to include Ezio and Cristina Palombizio, Helene Recchia and Jay Long; cousins, Salvatore and wife Vibha, Peter and wife Saloni, Elvis and wife Ellie and Eric Campbell. A celebration of Adriano’s new life will be held Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 11am in Corpus Christi Church, 601 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield. Attendees are asked to go directly to the Church. Internment will follow in the family plot in Cedar Hill Cemetery (Section 35), 453 Fairfield Ave., Hartford. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Adriano’s name to Foodshare of Hartford. Adriano’s funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd., Wethersfield.
