Adekoyejo “Kore” Aremu, 32, of New Britain, went home to be with Jesus on September 30, 2008. Koyejo was born February 4, 1976 in Lagos, Nigeria and emigrated to the United States in 1994 and proudly became an American citizen. He was a devout Christian, loving husband, and dedicated father. Koyejo is survived by his devoted wife of 11 years, Erin (Reynolds) Aremu, and three beautiful children, Tobi, Mayowa, and Kemi. Along with his wife and children, Koyejo leaves his parents, Anthony & Eunice (Shobande) Aremu, his brother, four sisters and their spouses; from Massachusetts and Rhode Island; father and mother-in-law Jon & Elissa Reynolds of Wethersfield; brother-in-law, Zak Reynolds of Cromwell; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins and family friends . His faith in God defined the man he was. He was proud to be an active member of his church. Koyejo lived the kind of life Christ wants us to live, and was able to touch many during his lifetime. Koyejo owned and operated the Berlin Quiznos. A Funeral service celebrating Koyejo’s life will be held Monday October 6, 2008 at 11:00am directly at Crossroads Church of God, 146 Hudson Street, Berlin, CT 06037. Interment will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park,(section 31) 580 Elm Street, Rocky Hill. Relatives and friends may call on the family Monday October 6, 2008 at the Church from 9:00am to 11:00am. Koyejo’s family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to the Aremu Children’s Education Fund, 30 Broad St., Wethersfield, CT 06109.
