Lori (Pietrycha) Kiczuk, 57, of Thonotosassa, FL, former longtime Hartford resident, beloved wife to the late Jack E. Kiczuk peacefully passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Melech Hospice in Tampa, FL. Lori was born September 12, 1958 and raised in Hartford, daughter of the late Fred A. and Leona (Waszkelewicz) Pietrycha. Prior to her retirement, Lori was employed for many years with John Hancock Insurance Co. After which time, she held positions with Denny’s Restaurants in Wethersfield, CT and Tampa, FL. She was a devout Catholic and an active member of Corpus Christi Church, Wethersfield. Lori will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her daughter Caroline R. Kiczuk of Thonotosassa, FL; her brother Martin Pietrycha of Coventry; relatives from the Kiczuk family; as well as many dear friends. Friends and relatives may pay their respects to the family Wednesday September 7, 2016 from 9:00 to 10:00am at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd., Wethersfield. A Mass of Christian burial celebrating Lori’s life will follow at 11:00am in Corpus Christi Church, 601 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield. Interment will follow the Mass in West Meadow Cemetery, Willard Avenue, Newington. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to St. Jude’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
