Obituary for Patricia J. "Pat" Beale (Moffitt)

Patricia J. “Pat” (Moffitt) Beale, 73, of West Hartford, beloved wife to the late Joseph E.W. Beale, peacefully passed away Friday, October 23, 2015 in St. Francis Hospital. Pat was born October 14, 1942 and raised in Brooklyn, NY, one of seven children to the late William and Margaret (Fader) Moffitt. She resided in the Hartford area for many years, with the last 21 years in West Hartford. Pat was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister who cherished her family and held the most important job of all, that of being a “Mom”. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her loving family; a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph W. and Kimberly Beale of Wethersfield; a daughter Sandra Lee Beale of PA; a brother and sister-in-law, James and Debbie Moffitt of FL; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Alice Moffitt of L.I.N.Y and Jane and William Claussen of FL; four adored grandchildren, Christina Cabral and her husband Frank, Danielle Williams, Rachel Beale and Seth Beale; five cherished great grandchildren, Sophie Simpson, Keira Murray, Lindsey Murray, Noah Cabral and Ava Williams; along with her special friends Al and Joy Cowden, Derek Cowden and D.J. Horn, all whom Pat considered her extended family. In addition to her parents and husband, Pat was predeceased by a daughter Debra Ann Beale as well as three siblings. Friends and relatives may pay their respects to Pat’s family Tuesday, October 27, 2015 from 3-6pm at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd. Wethersfield with a Celebration of Pat’s life at 6pm in the Funeral Home with Pastor Eric Stillman officiating. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. At the family’s request in lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 100 Pearl St., #1432, Hartford, CT 06103.
