Obituary for Thomas J. "Tommy" O'Meara Jr.

Thomas J. “Tommy” O’Meara Jr., 54, of Tolland, MA, beloved husband of Margee (Bailey) O’Meara, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Noble Hospital in Westfield, MA. Tommy was born July 25, 1960 in Hartford and raised in Wethersfield one of six children to Thomas J. and Mary (Schaller) O’Meara. He resided in Tolland, MA for many years and was a self employed Logger, and was the Owner/Operator of the Tom O’Meara Logging Co. In addition to his wife and parents, Tommy will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his daughter Raychel O’Meara of Tolland, MA; stepdaughter, Sherri Heath of Monterey, MA; brother, Richard O’Meara of Wethersfield; four sisters, Theresa Digan of Portland, Maryellen O’Meara of Wethersfield, Maureen Scully and her husband Jeff, of Oquossoc, ME, and Holly-Anne O’Meara and her husband Eric Lohrey, of Thurman, NY; and several nieces and nephews, and numerous friends. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Tommy’s life will be held Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 12:30pm in Corpus Christi Church, 601 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield. Burial will be private. Tommy’s funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd., Wethersfield, CT 06109.
