Obituary for Kathleen A. "Sully" Sullivan-Pentalow

Kathleen A. “Sully” Sullivan-Pentalow, 58, wife of John E. Pentalow, of Berlin, passed away Tuesday January 13, 2015 at home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Hartford, daughter of the late Michael J. and Nancy (Donlin) Sullivan and lived in the area all of her life. Kathy graduated from Northwest Catholic High school and went on to a life-long career with American Airlines. She started as a Reservations Clerk and rose through many positions before retiring as a Customer Service Agent and Training Coordinator for American Airlines at Bradley International Airport after 33 years of dedicated service. Kathy then went on to volunteer with The Hospital of Central Connecticut as a receptionist and with the Sacred Heart Food Pantry of East Berlin. She was an amateur bike rider, had a passion for family friends and travel and loved walking her dog Morgan. Besides her husband, Kathy leaves her beloved children, Larissa Pentalow and Sean Pentalow of Berlin, her step daughters, Cheryl Colson and her husband Rod of Colchester and Tracy Pentalow of Southington and her son Dylan Pentalow. She will also be remembered by her brother Michael Sullivan and his wife Gina of Enfield, and a close cousin, Cindy Frazier of Plainville. She also leaves aunts in England and Ireland and several cousins through-out the states, England and Ireland as well as many nieces, nephews and numerous devoted friends. Friends and family may visit from 1:00 – 4:00 pm Sunday January 18, 2015 and 12:00 – 1:00 pm Monday January 19, 2015 at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd., Wethersfield, CT. A Memorial Service celebrating Kathy’s life will be held at 1:00 pm Monday January 19, 2015 at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network / Purple Strides (www.pancan.org).
