Life Story for Sandra Stack (Lecis)

Sandra (Lecis) Stack, 54, beloved wife of Brendan Stack, died Monday November 10, 2014 at her home. Born and raised in Hartford, daughter of the late Adolf and Gertrude (Zaune) Lecis, Sandy graduated from Northwest Catholic High School, and later worked for the Travelers Insurance Co. and Hartford Hospital. She was a great cook, and loved to entertain her friends and family. Sandy also enjoyed following her favorite teams, the Boston Red Sox and the UConn Women's basketball team. Sandy leaves two sisters, Brigita Pytel and her husband Alex of Rocky Hill, and Edy Dotti of Union Beach, NJ, and brother Erik Lecis of Ashburn, VA. One of Sandy's greatest joys was spending time with her nieces and nephews; Penny, Greg, Marlo, Theresa, Aram, Erika, and Alex, as well as several great nieces and nephews. In addition, she leaves her mother-in-law, Kathleen Culver, sister-in-law Colleen Reavey and her husband Patrick, and brother-in-law Sean Stack. Burial will be held Wednesday November 19, 2014 at 1:00 pm in Rose Hill Memorial Park (Sec. 22). The Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, Glastonbury has charge of the arrangements.
