Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Samantha Freeman can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Samantha Lilyan. (Hanson) Freeman, 25, beloved wife of David Michael Freeman, of Manchester, passed away August 20, 2014 at home. She was born in Middletown, daughter of Jennifer Hanson-Hawkins Sarli of Glastonbury and the late David M. Hawkins, attended local schools and was presently working towards her Bachelor’s Degree from Central Connecticut State University. Sammy was a store manager for Appalachian Tails and loved animals. She rescued many homeless animals. Sammy loved to cook and she was the best sister a little brother could ever ask for. She also leaves behind a loving step father Christopher James Sarli Sr. and brother Landon Hanson Sarli of Glastonbury, her grandparents, Suzanne Hanson, Henrietta Hawkins and the late Roger Hawkins, V.J. Sarli, Shirley and Tony Marone, all of Glastonbury and Lee Hanson and his wife Terri of Lebanon, CT, three uncles, Michael, Jeffrey and Richard Hanson, and their spouses Heidi, Amy, and Lisa and two cousins, Dana and Andrew Hanson and her aunt Susan Hawkins, step brother Chris Sarli Jr. and many more beloved family and friends.
Friends may call Monday August 25, 2014 from 4-7 pm at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Naubuc Ave. Glastonbury. A memorial service will be held at 7:00.
