Obituary for Thomas S Frasca

Thomas Frasca, 92, husband of Barbara (Naprstek) Frasca, of Wethersfield, passed away November 4, 2023 in Hartford Hospital. He was born in Hartford, son of the late Giovanni and Sebastiana (Provizzini) Frasca. Tom proudly served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. Prior to his retirement, he was a Design Engineer for Pratt and Whitney Aircraft, where he held two patents for his designs of jet engine components. Tom was an avid sailor. He and Barbara sailed the trip they had always dreamed of, circumnavigating New England and the Canadian Maritime, as well as navigating the entire Eastern Seaboard. Additionally, they traveled the US while living in their modified minivan; and enjoyed travel to Italy and Sicily. Tom had a love of woodworking, making all the cabinetry in their home (to exacting specifications). He also loved tinkering with home, boat, and car repairs.

Besides his wife, he will be greatly missed by his son John Frasca and his wife BJ of Medfield, MA and his daughter Deborah Lansford and her husband John of Spokane Valley, WA; his grandchildren, Suzanne MacEachern, her husband Colin, and their children Quinn and Grayson; Thomas Frasca and his wife Kasey; Tyler Frasca; Blake Frasca; and Nick Lansford. Tom also leaves his brother, Robert Frasca. He was predeceased by his sister, Norma Fasano.

A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating his life will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023, at 10:00 am in the Church of the Incarnation of Christ the King, 544 Prospect Street, Wethersfield. Burial will follow in Village Cemetery, 1 Marsh St, Wethersfield. There are no calling hours. To extend condolences, please visit Farleysullivan.com.
