Obituary for Thomas Francis Brown

It is with deepest sadness that we share the passing of Thomas (Tommy) Brown of Glastonbury on September 7, 2023. Born in Hartford on May 9, 1950, he was the son of the late Edward Brown and Hedwig (Jean) (Krusiewicz) Brown. Tommy worked in the auto parts warehouse business for many years, retiring as a manager for Motive Parts Warehouse/MAWDI, who supplied auto parts to Acme Auto Stores. Tommy is predeceased by his beloved Benji and Sharp-ei and sister Patty Glowacki and sister and brother-in-law Denise and Donald Keller. He will be remembered as a gentle soul and will be greatly missed by his wife and soul mate of 42 years, Susan Brown-Bafumo, sister Jaqueline Holmes, brother-in-law William Glowacki, who treated him like a son and extended family, Lisa Bafumo and Lowell Fitch, Chip and Chris Bafumo, Debbie Murphy and Topaz, who adored him, Sylvia Hasch and Joseph Haddad, thank you Joe for everything, Jasmine Haddad and Charlotte McDonald and man nieces, nephews and friends.
Tommy’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Naubuc Avenue, Glastonbury on Monday September 11, 2023 from 3:30 – 6:30 PM. A Graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 11:00 AM in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, 1 Cottage Grove Road, Bloomfield. Tommy had a special love for all animals and felt they should all be taken care of. In his honor, donations may be made to the Simon Foundation, 120 Rescue Lane, Bloomfield, CT 06002.
