Shirley C. Todaro, 86, wife of the late Salvatore Todaro, of Windsor Locks, passed away May 22, 2023 in Hartford Hospital. She was born in Wethersfield, daughter of the late James and Hilda (Ahlstrand) Conlon. Shirley was a graduate of Wethersfield High School and prior to her retirement, worked for many years at Aetna Insurance. She enjoyed gardening, doing puzzles, was an avid golfer and crocheted Afghans for family members. Most of all, Shirley was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Chris Todaro of Wethersfield, her daughter Pam Bunnell of Windsor Locks, her grandchildren, Kimberly, Stacey, Sheri, Anthony and Zachary, 12 great-grandchildren and her brother David Conlon of NV. Besides her husband, Shirley was predeceased by her son Gary Todaro and her sister-in-law Terry Conlon. Her family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the caring staff at The Suffield House.
Friends may call on Saturday May 27, 2023 from 10:00 to 11:00 at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Road, Wethersfield. A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00, followed by burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery, 453 Fairfield Avenue, Hartford.
